Perfect for couples looking to enjoy the nightlife

We stayed in a balcony suite that had this beautiful view of the nightlife below. The staff was outrageously friendly and even went the extra mile to surprise my fiancé with a special birthday treat, which made her smile light up the whole place.

We stayed for two nights while exploring the beautiful historic sites nearby. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to San Juan's attractions. The rooftop bar was a highlight with its excellent cocktails and stunning views. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially at the front desk, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Location in Old San Juan is perfect. Everything easily within walking distance. Our room was quite spacious and clean with a lovely balcony that offered a nice view. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the pebble floor in the shower. Staff were friendly and super helpful, especially at the front desk. However, noise at night was significant. Street sounds and people coming from nearby bars were distracting. On our last night, the rooftop bar was especially loud, and it made sleeping difficult. Wi-Fi was weak in our room, making it inconvenient to stay connected. Also, the lighting in the room was too dim, almost like trying to navigate in a cave. It would be great if they improved on these matters.

i loved how close this hotel was to iconic spots like plaza colon and la fortaleza, making my city strolls so enjoyable, and the colonial-style charm of the place provided an extra layer of comfort after long days exploring old san juan.

The charming colonial-style decor at Decanter Hotel captured my heart. The spacious common areas were easily accessible, making it comfortable for seniors like me to navigate through the beautiful ambiance of Old San Juan.

A stronger Wi-Fi signal would improve convenience for seniors.

Just an optimal selection for an overnight stay in San Juan with real value for money. The AC worked great and kept the room cool. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs for the noise at night.

Had an amazing vacation with friends! The rooftop bar had stunning views and we enjoyed walking to the forts nearby. Just a heads up, the elevators can be slow during peak times. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’d definitely recommend the terrace suite for a great experience.

We did notice some street noise, especially at night, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
